Christopher K. Leach '08

 Christopher works within the United States Corporate Banking department, specifically focusing on turn around management ($86MM under management), middle market LBO sponsors, and Debtor-in-Possession (DIP) investing. 

While at RWU, Chris held numerous executive positions within various organizations: three of these for the Gabelli School of Business included being a member of the Executive Council to the Advisor Board of GSB, a Student Fund Manager for the Student Managed Investment Fund inside of the Center for Advanced Financial Education, and Vice President of Professional Events for the Professional Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi.  Chris acted at Treasurer of the Junior Class in 2007 and was a member of the RWU Golf Team for four years.  Chris interned at Investors Capital in Providence.

Christopher’s passion to help new alumni with their transition into the “real world” sparked his interest in joining the Alumni Board. He believes that strengthening the RWU alumni network will not only be crucial to the growth of the University, but will prove to be a valuable asset and competitive edge for future graduates in their effort to gain entry into their respective industries.

Christopher currently resides in the Upper East Side of Manhattan and is an active member in the Banks baseball team, which placed 3rd in the Nippon Cup Tournament in 2011. He also plays on multiple soccer teams, one of which for the benefits United Cerebral Palsy of NY.
