Timothy Yeaton '80

Tim is president of Black Duck Software in Waltham, Massachusetts and a pioneer in open source software development. Tim's company is a global provider of software products and services. Under his leadership, the firm has been in a steady growth and acquisition phase.

Tim is a summa cum laude graduate of RWU and became a Trustee of the University in 2010, having previously served on the Board of Overseers. He chairs the Advancement and Alumni Committee of the Board of Trustees, and plays a key role in defining the University's culture of philanthropy and engagement.

In 2000, Tim was named Distinguished Alumnus of the Year by the Roger Williams Alumni Association.

Tim and his wife, Susan, have a young daughter, Nicole, and a grown son, "TJ."
