The Roger Williams Alumni Association (RWAA) is committed to providing alumni an opportunity to reconnect, network, socialize and contribute to their communities, through the establishment of local alumni chapters in their cities and states. Through the National Chapter Program, the Association is reforming core chapters in the Northeast as well as organizing new ones across the country. Several years ago, Roger Williams had alumni chapters nationwide and we hope to reestablish this precedent in the years to come. Alumni chapters are managed by alumni volunteers and reflect RWU’s values of education, community and service. Support and guidance to the chapters is provided by the Office of Alumni Relations to assist alumni in planning a wide variety of activities including: lectures, socials, Presidential visits and freshman send-off receptions, as well as cultural, sporting and networking events.
Alumni Chapters offer a great opportunity for alumni to connect with fellow graduates, foster lifelong learning, support their local communities and build connections with the University. They also serve as a valuable resource for new graduates and alumni who are relocating to a new city. Currently, Roger Williams University has three established chapters serving Rhode Island, the Greater Boston area and New York City. If you’re an alumnus/ae and do not live any of these areas, you may want to consider starting your own local chapter.
