The Roger Williams Alumni Association invites you to give back in a variety of ways. Caring, engaged alumni are vital to the strength and prominence of the University. You decide what type of activity is of personal significance to you—every contribution of your time and talent is welcome!
There are a number of opportunities to volunteer with fellow alumni, classmates and even faculty by supporting a variety of alumni affinity groups:
Career Conversations at Roger Williams University offers a wonderful opportunity for our many talented alumni to share their professional insights and guidance with today’s students. Alumni – from across a variety of disciplines and industries – travel back to campus to interact one-on-one with students through mentoring exercises, classroom visits and networking sessions.
Career Conversations creates an opportunity for RWU students to experience valuable, industry-specific Career Panel Sessions led by alumni from defined professional fields or industries that correspond to academic programs offered by the University. The Career Panel Sessions foster the exchange of real-world perspectives that serve as a compass to today’s students as they begin to explore options for their life after RWU.
If you would like to volunteer to participate on a future Career Panel during RWU’s Career Conversations or you would like more information, please visit the Career Conversations page or call the Alumni Office at (401) 254-3005.
Students and alumni can learn from your career experiences and expertise when you volunteer for Student-Alumni Career Conversations or serve as a mentor.
If you are interested in pursuing any of these volunteer opportunities, please log in to the Roger Williams Alumni Online Community and update your profile (Alumni Career Center tab or Volunteer tab).
If you have questions, please feel free to email the Office of Alumni Relations at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (401) 254-3005.
