Alumni Supporting Admissions Program

What is the Alumni Supporting Admissions Program (ASAP)?

The Alumni Supporting Admissions Program (A.S.A.P.) at Roger Williams University allows alumni the opportunity to utilize their time, talent and geographic location to assist in welcoming new students to the University. Involvement can be as simple as serving on an alumni/parent panel during an Accepted Students Day or as extravagant as hosting a summer send-off reception for incoming RWU freshmen at your home.

Why should I get involved?

Becoming a member of ASAP can be very rewarding, not only for you, but also the prospective student. All involved parties - the alum, prospective student, and the University, receive a tremendous sense of gratification when a student enrolls. Have you ever called the Admissions Office to get information for a college-bound child in your neighborhood? Or maybe you told a co-worker about the upcoming Open House and then you personally drove to Bristol with this person and his/her child? Many alumni are already involved in these initiatives without even realizing it!

Simply update your profile (Volunteer tab)  in the Roger Williams Alumni Online Community or contact Madlyn Waskiewicz in the Alumni Office for more information. Become a member today!
